(BBC Sport) Cyriel Dessers scored a winner just nine seconds after half-time as Feyenoord won an exciting Europa Conference League semi-final first leg against Marseille. The Dutch hosts were 2-0 up at De Kuip after 20 minutes following goals from Dessers and Luis Sinisterra. Marseille were level by the break, with Bamba Dieng pulling one back from outside the box before Gerson levelled. But Dessers struck again to give Feyenoord the advantage. The winner took the 27-year-old forward, who is on loan from Genk, to 10 goals in the competition - more than any Feyenoord player has previously managed in a European campaign. The return leg takes place in France next week, with the winners of this tie facing either Leicester or Roma, who drew 1-1 in their first leg. (BBC Sport) Leicester City's Europa Conference League semi-final remains in the balance after a hard-fought draw with Jose Mourinho's Roma at The King Power Stadium. Foxes' manager Brendan Rodgers will be disappointed they are not taking a lead to Stadio Olimpico for the second leg after they dominated the second half and came from behind to draw level. Roma struck early when Nicola Zalewski played in captain Lorenzo Pellegrini for a smooth low finish underneath Leicester keeper Kasper Schmeichel in the 15th minute. Leicester maintained their composure and deservedly equalised after 67 minutes when Ademola Lookman bundled in a cross from Harvey Barnes, via defender Gianluca Mancini. Mourinho will be satisfied with this result as Leicester could not make their domination pay, with Roma keeper Rui Patricio saving superbly from lively substitute Kelechi Iheanacho, who also headed over from close range.

(BBC Sport) Feyenoord will meet Roma in the Europa Conference League final after a cagey goalless draw in Marseille allowed them to go through 3-2 on aggregate. The French hosts lost playmaker Dimitri Payet to injury in the first half. Marseille had the bulk of possession and created the better chances, but struggled to inspire a comeback without the ex-West Ham man on the field. Despite failing to score for the first time since January, Feyenoord reached their first European final since 2002. The victory came after French police had intervened to stop violent clashes between fans outside the Stade Velodrome. The final will take place on 25 May in Albania against Roma, who beat Leicester 2-1 on aggregate in the other semi-final. (BBC Sport) Leicester City missed out on a place in the Europa Conference League final after losing 1-0 at Roma. Tammy Abraham's powerful header for the home side was the difference as Leicester struggled to make an impact at the Stadio Olimpico. The England striker's goal was enough to prevent the Foxes reaching a first European final after the first leg finished 1-1 at the King Power Stadium. It will be the Italian side's first European final since 1991, where they will face Feyenoord, who drew 0-0 with Marseille for a 3-2 aggregate win. Leicester boss Brendan Rodgers said after Sunday's Premier League 3-1 defeat to Tottenham that his side needed to work on their defending of corners - so the last thing he would want to see his side do was concede four of them in the opening 10 minutes. One of those corners gave Abraham opportunity to leap higher than anyone else and put a bullet header past Kasper Schmeichel from a sublime Lorenzo Pellegrini delivery, whose set-pieces were a threat throughout. Leicester were passive in the first half and did not manage a shot on target as Jamie Vardy looked isolated up front, with Rodgers seeing fit to introduce a strike partner, Kelechi Iheanacho, at half-time. The Foxes looked brighter in the second period but still failed to create any clear-cut opportunities as Roma were happy to run down the clock. The only shots of note came towards the final moments of the game as the Leicester players became desperate, shooting from all distances and angles. James Maddison's weak effort from 20 yards out was straight at Rui Patricio, and Iheanacho's attempt from distance was also picked up with ease by the Portuguese goalkeeper. Roma boss Jose Mourinho will now aim to put a fifth European title to his name when his side come up against Dutch side Feyenoord, who beat Marseille 3-2 over two legs in their semi-final, in the final on 25 May in Albania.
