1st} Arsenal, 75 pts (+40, 5g) 2nd} Manchester City, 73 pts (+53, 5g) ...City are definitely in the pound seats here; with 2 games in hand over the Gunners they can run out the campaign with their 5th series title in the past 6 years
3rd} Newcastle United, 62 pts (+32, 6g) 4th} Manchester United, 60 pts (+9, 7g) ...assuming neither club slips up, both have the inside track to fill the remaining 2 Champions League berths...
t-5th[5]Tottenham Hotspur, 54 pts (+7, 5g) t-5th[6]Aston Villa, 54 pts (+5, 5g) 7th} Liverpool, 53 pts (+22, 6g) 8th} Brighton & Hove Albion, 49 pts (+15, 8g) ...here is where the plot thickens. Three of the four above will also go to Europe but will it seem like a step up for Aston Villa (last in Europe back in 2010) or for Brighton (who've never been to Europe) OR a step down for Liverpool (6 time Champions League winners) or for Spurs (UCL runners-up in 2019)...

1st} Manchester City, 79 pts (+57, 5g) 2nd} Arsenal, 78 pts (+42, 4g) still as before: City are definitely in the pound seats here; with 2 games in hand over the Gunners they can run out the campaign with their 5th series title in the past 6 years
3rd} Newcastle United, 65 pts (+27, 5g) 4th} Manchester United, 63 pts (+40, 5g) 5th} Liverpool, 59 pts (+42, 4g) With 5 wins on the trot, Liverpool have put themselves back into Champions League; this would be cemented should they win agst. Brentford on May 6th and both Newcastle United & Manchester United slip up
6th} Brighton & Hove Albion, 55 pts (+24, 6g) t-7th[7]Tottenham Hotspur, 54 pts (+22, 4g) t-7th[8]Aston Villa, 54 pts (+6, 4g) Assuming Liverpool can stay in the second group above, you now have a three-way scramble for 6th & 7th in Europe next campaign...

One week remaining; where do we stand?
1st} Manchester City 2nd} Arsenal 3rd} Newcastle United -These three have qualified for Champions League competition next season (2023-2024). 4th} Manchester United, 69 pts (+11, 2g) 5th} Liverpool, 66 pts (+28) -One last Champions League spot; all United need to do is draw in either of their next two matches while Liverpool must win and hope for United losses to both Chelsea and Fulham. That said, whoever loses between them clinches one of the two Europa League spots for next season. 6th} Brighton & Hove Albion, 61 pts (+20, 2g) -Although Brighton haven't yet officially secured the second Europa League spot, the first tiebreaker is goal differential and its' simply not possible for Villa to overcome it, thus... 7th} Aston Villa, 58 pts (+4) 8th} Tottenham Hotspur, 57 pts (+4) --...a two-horse race for the Europa Conference League spot. For Villa, a win suffices regardless of Spurs' result vs. Leeds United; if Villa draw, however, they would need Spurs to lose to secure the spot. For Spurs, on the other hand, a win PLUS a Villa draw/loss would grant them 7th; if Spurs draw, they would need Villa to lose against Brighton, otherwise Villa finish 7th.
