(The Guardian) 90+6 min: Bryan Mbeumo is announced as man of the match and receives a warm embrace from Ivan Toney, who is sitting just behind the Brentford dug-out. In truth, any number of Brentford players would have been worthy winners of the gong.

(The Guardian) Full time: Brentford 3-1 LiverpoolPeep! Peep! Peeeeeeeeeeep! It’s all over at the Gtech Community Stadium, where Brentford have run out extremely worthy winners against Liverpool. They were outstanding tonight against a Liverpool side who were little short of shambolic in the first half, but got their game faces on for the second.

Been tough watching us lately, not sure what's up with the players.

So were winning the Champions League then this season to qualify for next season? Lol I think the priority for Klopp at the moment is Top-4 in the Premier League, as far an advance in the Champions League and similar in the FA Cup. Of course, winning the Champions League guarantees a return there next season and a repeat FA Cup title guarantees at minimum a European placing. Been tough watching us lately, not sure what's up with the players. Its' the seven-year slump for Jurgen Klopp; when he was boss at Mainz and then at Dortmund he had similar slumps....
